iOS App Design
Meme Alarm is an iPhone App that was designed and programmed by myself and my friend Gabriel Davila
We had an idea for a fun app came about from our love of tech, programming and memes. So we came up with an alarm clock app that sends you a new meme every morning.
The app was coded in iOS Native programming using Swift in xcode 13/14. The database is hosted on a NoSQL Firebase database and the images retrieved from an AWS EC2 Micro Web Server using Apache, JSON and an API so that new images can consistently be added.
We continually add new memes and they automatically get added into the rotation of meme images.
